The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS) ( is a NY-based nonprofit organization that promotes multicultural literature and literacy. The IAAS publishes quarterly "phati'tude Literary Magazine" as part of the organization's phati'tude programming initiatives (

"phati'tude Literary Magazine" publishes poetry, fiction and essays written by both emerging and established writers of diverse origins whose works exhibit social, political and cultural awareness. Every four months, subscribers receive approximately 130-150 pages of riveting reviews, in-depth interviews, penetrating essays, a wonderful selection of artwork and photography; and a wide range of prose, short stories and poetry from the U.S. and around the world.
